Preparation

New construction requires careful preparation before finish coats are applied. Depending on the substrate and project specification, this may include patching, filling, sanding, caulking, priming, sealing and undercoating.

Walls & Ceilings

Internal walls and ceilings are prepared and coated using the nominated paint system and sheen level. Where premium or critical-lighting finishes are required, the plaster finish and paint system should be coordinated from the beginning of the project.

Doors, Frames & Timberwork

We paint doors, frames, skirtings, architraves, window frames and other nominated timberwork. Where a white or light-coloured enamel finish is required, water-based enamel systems are often preferred because they generally maintain colour better over time than traditional oil-based alkyd enamel. The final product is always subject to the project specification and client approval.

External Painting

External painting can include cladding, eaves, soffits, fascias, posts, doors, frames, timber and other paintable surfaces shown in the project documentation.

Luxury & Architectural Homes

For higher-end homes, we can deliver carefully coordinated painting systems for architectural details, feature areas, premium timber finishes and mirror-finish woodwork where specified.

Builder Take-Offs

Builders can send architectural drawings, schedules and specifications for a detailed painting take-off and itemised quotation.
