This notice explains how Christo Industries Pty Ltd handles personal information you give us through this website. Last updated: 22 October 2026.
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry, book a site assessment or upload project files, we collect the name, email address, phone number, project address, service requirements, preferred timing, project description and any files you provide. Files may contain drawings, specifications, photographs, addresses and information about other people. Please provide only information needed to assess your project.
Our forms also record when each form was opened, and we check the visitor's IP address against a public IP-location service (freeipapi.com) to confirm that an enquiry comes from Australia. Our web hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and request details.
Why we collect it
We use project information to assess scope, prepare or discuss quotations, contact you about the enquiry, and administer any resulting project. Without the required contact details and project information, we may be unable to assess or respond to your request.
How the forms work
The enquiry and site assessment request forms send your details by email to our team. The plan upload form sends your details and any files to our team. Uploaded files are saved on our website server and are not emailed to anyone (see below). The quote builder works in your browser. You can download a draft or print a PDF from it, and nothing is sent to us or saved to our systems.
Access, storage and providers
Enquiry details are emailed to admin@christoindustries.com.au and to the business's other email addresses. Email is delivered by Microsoft 365 and Google. Uploaded project files are saved in a folder on our website server that cannot be opened from the internet. Our team reaches those files through the hosting control panel. Each notification email includes a download link for each file. Anyone who holds a link can download that file until the link expires after 90 days, so please keep links private.
Our website and project files are hosted by our web hosting provider. Email is delivered by Microsoft 365 and Google, which may process information outside Australia.
Security and retention
We use access restrictions and reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information held. No online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not upload passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or unrelated sensitive information.
We keep enquiry details and project files for as long as needed to assess and deliver your project, and for any legal or record-keeping period that applies. Contact us to request deletion of information that is no longer needed, subject to lawful retention requirements.
YouTube videos
Our video collection includes videos hosted by YouTube, a Google service. Selecting a video opens it on YouTube, which may receive information such as your IP address, device details and viewing activity and may set cookies or similar technology. This information may be processed outside Australia. See Google's privacy policy. Videos hosted directly on this website do not load YouTube.
Cookies and marketing
The only tools on this website are the enquiry, booking and upload forms and embedded YouTube videos. Cookies can be set in your browser only by YouTube videos that you choose to open. Submitting a project enquiry or upload does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Your information and concerns
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information, or to raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will consider requests subject to applicable law and legitimate record-keeping obligations.
Email admin@christoindustries.com.au, call (03) 9923 7457, or write to Christo Industries Pty Ltd, 454 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. If the Privacy Act applies and a complaint is not resolved, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
